Can E-Commerce and Brick & Mortar Compliment Each Other?

I had a small item to return to Amazon back in December. Since the item only cost about eight dollars I wasn't about to spend on return shipping. Low and behold - there was a free return shipping option. All I had to do was to drop the package off at Kohls. Little did I realize what a smart marketing partnership this was. It got consumers (me) into the store - something I would never do in December. You then have to walk all the way through the store to the far corner to reach customer service. When you drop off your package your returns confirmation prints out with a 25% off Kohls coupon. So can e-commerce and bricks & mortar compliment each other? I say yes!
